Oral Health and Dentistry

Dr. Leora Walter is well-regarded prosthodontist, a dental specialist trained in advance restorative and implant dentistry. She received her prosthodontics degree from New York Hospital Queens and completed her general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center. After completing her post-graduate specialty training in comprehensive advanced restorative dentistry, Dr. Walter went on to complete a 2-year surgical fellowship in Dental Implantology at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Walter is currently Course Director in prosthodontics and Clinical Attending at the Woodhull Medical Center where she uses her expertise to train, mentor, and teach other dentists

Prosthodontics

Dr. Sinkford was appointed associate dean at Howard College of Dentistry in 1967. In 1975, she broke the gender barrier when she was appointed dean of Howard University College of Dentistry, serving from 1975-1991. An alumna of Howard University, Dr. Sinkford graduated first in the dental class at Howard University in 1958. She currently serves as dean emerita of the College of Dentistry.

Dr Orlando Auciello has edited 20 books on various topics, published about 500 articles in the fields described above, holds 20 patents, and organized, chaired, and lectured at numerous national and international conferences. He has numerous Awards, including seven R&D 100 Awards, 2003 Hispanic Engineering National Achievement Award, 2006 Federation of National Laboratories Award, 2008 University of Chicago Distinguished Performance Award, and is a Fellow of the AAAS and MRS.

Dr Philine H Metelmann obtained her Dentistry degree from Greifswald University in Germany. She subsequently pursued a Ph.D. in Comprehensive Cancer Prevention, earning a nomination for the 2015 Felix Burda Award. In 2012, she was granted support by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) to further her research and education as a visiting student at the University of Minnesota in the USA. Following a period of work in a private practice, she is presently enrolled in an Orthodontic Residency program while concurrently conducting various research projects.

Prof. Andrea Scribante is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Pavia in Italy, holding positions at the School of Dentistry, School of Dental Hygiene, and the Postgraduate Program in Orthodontics. Furthermore, he acts as a Clinical Resident within the Unit of Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry, located in the Dentistry Section of the Department of Clinical, Surgical, Diagnostic, and Paediatric Sciences at the University of Pavia. Prof. Scribante is actively engaged in scholarly endeavors, with a remarkable record of over 130 publications featured in internationally recognized journals indexed on Scopus and PubMed. He also plays an important role as a member of the Editorial Committees and Editorial Boards of numerous international journals, and is recognized as a top peer reviewer on Publons

Dental pharmacology

Dr. Osman Adiguzel's academic journey commenced with his graduation from the Department of Physics at Ankara University, Turkey, in 1974. He went on to complete his Ph.D. at Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey. In 1986-1987, he extended his studies as a postdoctoral research scientist at Surrey University in Guildford, UK, with a particular focus on shape memory alloys. His professional path began as a research assistant at Dicle University from 1975 to 1980, after which he transitioned to Firat University in 1980. His dedication and expertise culminated in his appointment as a professor in 1996. Dr. Adiguzel recently retired due to reaching the age limit of 67, concluding an illustrious 45-year academic career. Throughout his career, he made significant contributions to the field, authoring more than 80 papers published in international and national journals. Additionally, he actively participated in over 120 conferences and symposia, assuming various roles such as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited Speaker, Speaker, and Poster Presenter. He also took on responsibilities as program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these events. Notably, from 2014 to 2019, Dr. Adiguzel was engaged in over 60 conferences as a Speaker, Keynote Speaker, and Conference Co-Chair, organized by various companies in different countries.

Dr. Ahmed Halim Ayoub, DDS, MSc, currently serves as a Visiting Lecturer at the BPP University Faculty of Dentistry in London, England. He obtained his Diploma and Master's Degrees from Seville University in Spain, specializing in the field of bone augmentation and sinus elevation. Dr. Halim has developed a profound expertise in bone healing, with a particular focus on the roles of growth factors and bone morphogenetic proteins in bone growth. Furthermore, Dr. Halim is deeply passionate about dental implant education and has pioneered innovative modules that incorporate live training. He has played a pivotal role in directing postgraduate dental implant training programs with the Egyptian Society of Oral Implantology, the London Oral Restorative Academy, and London Dental Education Services
